CENTERBURG — Four young men face first-degree misdemeanor arson charges in connection with the July 23 incident where several bottle bombs were found in Centerburg — one of which exploded in a resident’s hand while checking for mail.
Derrick A. Israel, 18; Joshua D. Teale, 19; and Mitchell A. Stockmaster, 18, all of Centerburg; and Philip E. Mann, 18, Mount Vernon, have all been charged with 2909.03(A) Arson charges. According to the Ohio Revised Code, the arson charge reads, “No person, by means of fire or explosion, shall knowingly do any of the following: (1) Cause, or create a substantial risk of, physical harm to any property of another without the other person’s consent.”
